In a horrific instance, the fire broke out on the sets of Chiranjeevi’s period film, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy in the early hours on Friday. According to reports, the set has been completely turned into ash, with a loss estimated at Rs 2 crore. The shooting was going on at Allu Aravind farmhouse in Kokapet, Hyderabad.

Sye Raa is the most ambitious project for Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan, where the latter is producing the film under his banner Konidela Productions. Charan had once said that his father had acted in many notable films but he always craved for to work in a period film, adding he is happy to have turn producer for this father’s film. Directed by Surender Reddy, the film has a galaxy of star cast including Nayanthara as the lead actress and Amitabh Bachchan among others.
