More About Fauji
The film is rumored to be a period drama set during the time of Subhash Chandra Bose’s rule, with Prabhas portraying an army officer in this romantic tale. Mythri Movie Makers is going all out to produce this film on a grand scale, with a large set being constructed at Ramoji Film City where most of the shooting will take place. The music for the film is composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar, who has reportedly completed three songs.
The official synopsis of Fauji reads: “Not every historical event resonates with our emotions and thoughts, but this story is written by a warrior to bring justice to the people of his Mother Land. This historical fiction/alternate history set in the 1940s tells the tale of a warrior who rises from the shadows, emerging from a society that believed war was the only answer to the buried injustices and forgotten truths that history kept hidden from the world.”
