Suhas won a lot of applause for his performance in Color Photo. He is now back with a film called Family Drama. Read our review to find out if the film has any juice in it or not.
Plot
The film is about two brothers Ram and Lakshman. Ram is a serial killer and is kicked out of his house. He is approached by his brother Lakshman to deal with his abusive father. As Ram has issues with his dad already, he takes up the issue and sorts it out in his own way. How he did it is the story.
Performances
Suhas proved himself with Color Photo and he has gone a step ahead with Family Drama. He as the serial killer looks weird and does an amazing job. He brings scares to the audience with his body language and negative role. The rest of the cast was just about okay.
Analysis
The film is directed by Meher Tej and he has done a decent job. His story idea is very different and the premise he has chosen is also dark. Though the narration is slow, he did not deviate from the main point keeping the interest of the viewers intact.
However, the film is not short of issues. The unpredictable nature and narration, and characters changing their intentions in a jiffy may find it difficult for the viewers to connect with. The second half which is key gets slow.
Ajay and Sanjay’s music is good. Venkat R Sakhamuri’s cinematography is good and gave a realistic feel to the entire story. Family Drama is really different from the others. If you want to watch something unique give this film a shot and you won’t be disappointed.
