Nabha Natesh, the bubbly actress associated with her vivacious performances, had high expectations from her recent release Darling. However, the comic-caper film did not impress the viewers and thus shattered her dreams of salvation for a career.
In Darling, she played a girl with multiple personality disorders who, despite all, could not recapture funny moments due to its being indifferently scripted. The actress is pretty and did okay but she couldn’t save a badly written role.
After successful collaborations with stars like Ravi Teja and Ram Pothineni, Nabha took up Priyadarshi – the comedian turned hero as his lead in Darling. It was an audacious move because Priyadarshi is yet to turn into a hero. Tollywood heroes are very particular about their heroines’ films and co-stars in them. If they see her doing non-star movies, they may hesitate to act alongside her.

It is in iSmart Shankar where Nabha Natesh showed off her talent when she starred alongside Ram Pothineni matching strides with him plus good looks and acting skills. This earned her recognition as a promising talent. She started in Telugu cinema through Nannu Dochukunduvate but it was iSmart Shankar that gave her fame.
She also worked with Ravi Teja in Disco Raja and Sai Dharam Tej in Solo Brathuke So Better. Additionally, she shared screen space with Bellamkonda Srinivas in Alludu Adhurs which became successful. On the other hand, Maestro, which she did together with Nithin turned out to be a dud thereby affecting her prospects.
The setback caused by Darling has undoubtedly dashed Nabha Natesh’s hopes. However, the fact that she has had successes in the past and can act quite well means that she is still open to some comebacks in the Tollywood industry which is highly competitive.
