The movie “Eagle” was initially planned for a Sankranti release but got postponed to February 8th due to competition. It received mixed reviews, with some enjoying it, especially praising the climax fight, while others found it lacking, resulting in a Box Office failure. Despite the theatrical setback, the film’s rap song by Seashore gained popularity on social media.
Although the magic of Raviteja didn’t work in theaters, the movie holds potential for success on OTT platforms, given its decent content. ETV win secured the digital streaming rights, expected to be available from the second week of March.
Directed by Karthik Gattamneni, known for “Surya vs Surya,” and produced by T. G. Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibhotla under People Media Factory, the film features Ravi Teja, Kavya Thapar, Anupama Parameswaran, Navdeep, Vinay Rai, and Srinivas Avasarala.
The plot revolves around Sahadeva Varma, a cotton mill owner in Talakona forest, whose unique cotton attracts attention. Journalist Nalini, played by Anupama Parameswaran, unwittingly uncovers Sahadeva’s dark past as an assassin, hunted by RAW, terrorists, and Naxals.
The film’s editing is handled by Karthik Gattamneni and Uthara, while Davzand takes charge of the background score and music.
