This star actress is Priyamani’s sister
Bollywood actress Priyamani recently shared an interesting fact about her family background. In a recent interview, she revealed that she is related to actress Vidya Balan. The two are second cousins connected through their fathers’ side of the family.
During a conversation Priyamani explained that her grandfather and Vidya Balan’s grandfather were brothers. This makes them second cousins. However, despite being family, they have only met twice in their lives.
Priyamani recalled that their first meeting took place at an award function in Visakhapatnam. Vidya Balan had attended the event because of her work in a Telugu film based on the life of NTR. At the event, she had the opportunity to present an award to Priyamani. Priyamani fondly remembered this moment, stating that Vidya was warm and kind. The two exchanged greetings and shared a hug on stage.
Their second meeting happened at a birthday party hosted by Shah Rukh Khan. Priyamani mentioned that Vidya was once again warm and friendly. Even though they have not spent much time together, Priyamani spoke highly of Vidya’s nature.
Priyamani has been gaining recognition in Bollywood after her role in Jawan alongside Shah Rukh Khan. She has also appeared in films like Article 370 and Maidaan. Meanwhile, Vidya Balan has established herself as one of Bollywood’s most talented actresses with films like Kahaani, The Dirty Picture, and Shakuntala Devi.
Though they have not worked together on-screen, both actresses have made their mark in the industry. Their connection adds an interesting aspect to Bollywood’s family ties.
