DYK Pawan Kalyan and Anushka missed THESE two blockbusters
Some actor combinations in the film industry work wonders, while others never happen. One such missed pairing in Tollywood is Pawan Kalyan and Anushka Shetty. Even though both are big stars, they never acted together in a full movie. Surprisingly, they missed out on two blockbuster films that could have brought them together on-screen.
Anushka Shetty was initially considered for a role in Pawan Kalyan’s 2006 film Bangaram. However, she turned down the offer because it was a very small role. The character was part of the climax scene where the heroine boards a train, and Pawan Kalyan reaches out to her. Though it was a crucial moment, Anushka felt it was too short for her, leading the makers to replace her. Eventually, the role went to another actress.
The second missed opportunity was Vikramarkudu, directed by SS Rajamouli. The film was initially written for Pawan Kalyan, and Anushka was set to play the female lead. However, Pawan Kalyan declined the project for unknown reasons, and the role went to Ravi Teja. The movie became a massive hit, and Anushka’s performance received great appreciation.
These missed films could have created an exciting on-screen pairing between Pawan Kalyan and Anushka Shetty. Though they never worked together, fans still wonder what could have been if these two stars had shared the screen.
