DYK Mahesh Babu and Karthi have THIS special connection?

Mahesh Babu and Karthi Sivakumar, two prominent stars in South Indian cinema, share a unique bond that predates their entry into the film industry. Surprisingly, their connection goes back to their school days at St. Bede’s Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School in Chennai. Despite their age difference, with Mahesh being two years senior, they were classmates and good friends during that time.

Mahesh Babu began his acting journey in 1999 with Rajakumarudu, while Karthi debuted in 2007 with Paruthiveeran. Though their film careers started years apart, their friendship has endured. Over the years, both have frequently reminisced about their shared memories. For instance, during a promotional event, Karthi mentioned he would love to work with Mahesh Babu if the right project came along, referring to him as “my classmate from Chennai.”

Their camaraderie was evident in 2019 when Mahesh Babu visited Karthi on the set of Maharshi. Photos of their reunion, filled with candid moments, delighted fans and highlighted their lasting bond.

Mahesh Babu is collaborating with SS Rajamouli on a globe-trotting adventure, while Karthi is known for his stellar performances in films like Kanguva and Meiyazhagan.
