Vikram has been criminally wasting his talent on films that don’t deserve his level of an actor in them. They are not giving him at least box office success to boast about.
While Tamil Nadu is still giving him some opening to reckon, his image as South Indian popular actor is going to vanish in a few years or maybe it has already gone. Kerala has given his new movie Kadaram Kondan a 47 lakhs opening while Mr. KK, Telugu title of the film, got not more than 50 lakhs gross all over two Telugu states. Here the market is huge.
But Vikram seems to be losing it film by film and his next film may not even get dubbed or find a release. He needs big directors or expensive budget promotional campaigns going forward. We have to wait and see if he at least now realises where everything is going wrong after finding such high success. For his talent, he shouldn’t be ending like a wave but should be riding it and becoming a legend but he seems to end up as an actor with few extraordinary films and many bad ones throughout the career!
