Megastar Chiranjeevi recently received the prestigious Padma Vibhushan Award in Delhi, marking a significant milestone in his movie career. To celebrate this momentous occasion, a leading media channel organized an exclusive interview with Chiranjeevi and Union Minister Kishan Reddy. During the interview, Chiranjeevi shared some interesting things that sparked a buzz on social media platforms.
One notable revelation was Chiranjeevi’s admiration for the films of his younger brother, Pawan Kalyan, and his son, Ram Charan. He expressed a fondness for several of Pawan Kalyan’s movies and he revealed his favorite movies among them. He said he loves Tholiprema, Badri, Jalsa, and Attarintiki Daredi. Despite Pawan Kalyan’s relatively limited filmography, Chiranjeevi praised the quality of his performances, except for a rare misstep. Similarly, he singled out Magadheera as his favorite among Ram Charan’s films.
The conversation in this interview also delved into political matters, with Chiranjeevi talking about his motives for entering politics. He said that his decision was driven by a desire to serve the people who had supported him throughout his career, rather than a pursuit of power or positions. Talking about the Padma Vibhushan award, Chiranjeevi expressed immense pride and gratitude for being conferred with the Padma Vibhushan Award, the second highest civilian honor in India.
The award ceremony, held on May 9th, was attended by Chiranjeevi’s family, including his wife, son, and daughter-in-law, who shared in his joyous moment.
On the work front, Chiranjeevi was last seen in Godfather and Waltair Veeraya. However, not all endeavors have met with critical acclaim, as evidenced by the lukewarm reception of his latest release, Bhola Shankar. Chiranjeevi is currently immersed in his upcoming project under the direction of Mallidi Vashishtha, titled Vishwambhara.
