Siddharth Roy, the upcoming romantic drama starring Deepak Saroj and Tanvi Negi, has generated significant excitement with its bold theatrical trailer. Directed by debutant Yeshasvi, the film has hit the screens today on February 23.
However, recent developments at a promotional event have brought attention to the film’s music composer, Radhan. Yeshasvi, the debut director, made startling allegations against Radhan, accusing him of unprofessional behavior that caused delays in the post-production phase. Despite Radhan’s reputation as a skilled technician, Yeshasvi claimed that the music composer’s conduct ultimately had a detrimental impact on the movie.
During the pre-release event of ‘Siddharth Roy,’ Yeshasvi openly criticized Radhan, cautioning others about potential issues when working with the music director.
He said,“We had wrapped up the shoot long ago, but the post-production was getting delayed because of Radhan. Most of us sign Radhan because he is a wonderful technician. However, Radhan eventually destroys the movie with his unprofessional work ethics.” He further added “Radhan only talks to argue. For instance, when we were on a trip to Vizag for location scouting, he called me from Rajahmundry, and we argued throughout the call, which lasted until we reached Vizag. He tends to criticize and challenge everything about your film. Fortunately, he has avoided my anger so far since he lives in Chennai.”
This isn’t the first time Radhan has faced such criticism, as even Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga expressed dissatisfaction with Radhan’s past delays in delivering music for ‘Arjun Reddy,’ leading to alternative arrangements.
Radhan, known for his contributions to films like ‘Andala Rakshasi,’ ‘Evade Subrahmanyam,’ ‘Husharu,’ ‘Jathi Ratnalu,’ and ‘Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty,’ has encountered criticism on multiple occasions. Complicating matters, Radhan is based in Chennai, making it challenging for directors to communicate with him effectively.
As ‘Siddharth Roy’ has hit the theatres, the controversy surrounding Radhan’s alleged unprofessionalism adds an unexpected layer to the anticipation surrounding the film.
