Dilruba box office collection day 1
Kiran Abbavaram’s latest romantic action film, Dilruba, hit the big screens with decent expectations. The movie, written and directed by Vishwa Karun, attracted attention with its intriguing trailer. To promote the film uniquely, the team encouraged audiences to watch it with both their current and former partners.
The film follows Siddharth Reddy (Kiran Abbavaram), a carefree youngster in love with Meghana (Kathy Davison). However, their relationship ends when she insists he apologize, a word he dislikes. Moving to Mangalore for studies, Siddharth meets Anjali (Rukshar Dhillon) and falls for her. Just when everything seems perfect, an unexpected event shatters his life. Meanwhile, Meghana, now married and settled in the USA, returns to India to meet Siddharth.

Despite initial excitement, Dilruba received mixed reviews from audiences and critics. While some praised Kiran Abbavaram’s performance and the film’s emotional depth, others felt it lacked freshness. Due to the mixed response, the film is expected to collect around ₹1 crore on its opening day. The weekend performance will depend on audience word-of-mouth.
The movie stars Kiran Abbavaram, Rukshar Dhillon, Kathy Davison, Satya, John Vijay, and Dayanand Reddy in key roles. Vishwa Karun directed the film, while Vikram Mehra, Siddharth Anand Kumar, Ravi, Jojo Jose, and Rakesh Reddy produced it. Sam CS composed the music and Viswas Daniel handled the cinematography, with Praveen KL as the editor.
