Dhanush’s NEEK set for OTT release:
Dhanush’s latest directorial film Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK) is ready to make its digital debut after an underwhelming theatrical run. The romantic comedy which faced stiff competition from Dragon did not perform well at the box office but is now set to reach a wider audience through streaming.

NEEK is a coming-of-age romantic drama that follows Prabhu (played by Pavish Narayan), an aspiring chef navigating a complicated love life. Torn between an arranged matchmaking process, a short-term trial relationship with his school friend Preethi (Priya Prakash Varrier), and lingering feelings for his ex, Nila (Anikha Surendran), Prabhu’s journey is filled with nostalgia, emotions and self-realization.
For those who missed it in theaters, NEEK is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on March 21. While an official confirmation from the makers is still awaited, reports suggest that Prime Video has secured the streaming rights for multiple languages including Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu.
