Dhanush to direct THIS star hero in a new film

Dhanush who gained praise for his last directorial film NEEK is reportedly planning another movie as a director. According to recent reports, he is set to collaborate for the first time with Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar. This exciting project is expected to be produced under Dhanush’s production house, Wunderbar Films, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

While no official confirmation has been made by either actor, the news has created a buzz among fans. If finalized, this will mark a significant collaboration between the two leading stars of Tamil cinema.

Dhanush is also directing another movie titled Idly Kadai, which co-stars Nithya Menen. However, reports suggest that its release date might be postponed. Originally scheduled for April 10, 2025, the film may be delayed to avoid a clash with Ajith Kumar’s upcoming film Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran. The makers of Idly Kadai have not yet confirmed any changes in the schedule.

Apart from directing, Dhanush is busy with multiple acting projects. He is eagerly awaiting the release of Kuberaa, directed by Sekhar Kammula, which is set to hit theaters on June 20, 2025. Additionally, he is working on the Bollywood film Tere Ishq Mein, where he will be seen alongside Kriti Sanon.

Ajith Kumar, known for his action-packed roles, has also been making headlines. The teaser for his upcoming film Good Bad Ugly has been well-received, showcasing him in a stylish and intense avatar. His last film, Vidaamuyarchi directed by Magizh Thirumeni has now been released on Netflix, allowing more audiences to watch his performance.
