Dhamaka Movie Review

Dhamaka is Ravi Teja’s latest presentation which has hit the screens today. The film has Sreeleela as the heroine and Trinadh Rao directs it. Read our review to find out if the film has any juice in it or not.

Plot

Swamy(Ravi Teja) is a local mass guy who is struggling to find a job. He falls in love with Sreeleea who in turn is also going to get married to Anand(Ravi Teja). That means there is a double role angle here. But things change when a terrific twist about the double roles comes out. All this caused due to the villain played by Jayaram. So who are these two Ravi Tejaas in the plot and how do they handle the main villain and who does Sreeleela marry is the basic story.

Performances

Ravi Teja is the sole of the film and he gives a very energetic performance. He lives in two roles and shows good variations. He has danced his heart out and evokes good comedy as well. Sreeleela is superb and looks beautiful. She has danced well and is good with Ravi Teja. Hyper Aadi and Rao Ramesh are very good in the comedy department. Jayaram plays the main villain and he was also neat.

Analysis

Dhamaka is about a man doing double roles for a mission. The story of a man with a double role is established nicely in the first half. The interval bang and all the scenes related to it are hilarious. The action blocks that come out during this time are also amazing. Added bonuses for the film are the super hit songs that have been composed well by Bheems.

The fights composed are cool and the role done by Sachin Khedekar is also amazing. The film has a good dose of comedy and has been elevated well with neat jokes. The audience who were missing Ravi Teja doing his trademark comedy will love his role in Dhamaka. The visuals and the manner in which songs have been shot also look amazing.

But the film has its sheer core of issues. Prasanna Kumar has penned the story which is neat but does not create anything new. The director Trinadh Rao gets a chance to narrate the film in a decent manner and he does not disappoint. The masses will love the film as they have a good dose of entertainment. But if you are those who look for logic and screenplay this film is not for you.

Bottom Line – Comedy clicks Drama Fails
