The most awaited film Dhadak trailer is out. Debutant Janhvi and Ishaan’s young romantic tale is refreshing. Set in the backdrop of Rajasthan, the trailer introduces us to Parthavi (Janhvi), daughter of the rich political clan in the village while Madhukar (Ishaan) is a middle-class guy.

The story has nothing new to offer as it revolves around  Madhukar who falls in for  Parthavi. But is the society that they have to go against to break the stigma around inter-cast marriage, rich and poor.  But will they survive on all alone love?

The film is the remake of popular hit Marathi film Sairat, so Dhadak has raised expectations right after the makers announced about the film.  The film holds special as it is Janhvi’s debut film while for Ishaan it is a  mainstream film after Majid Majidi’s Beyond the Clouds. The film all set to be out on July 20 is helmed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar under his banner Dharma Productions.
