Devara : THESE four scenes edited from Jr NTR’s film
The film has been certified with a U/A rating by the censor board. This means that the movie is suitable for all audiences, but children under 12 should watch it with parental guidance. However, the censor board has asked for four significant scenes to be cut from the film. Three of these scenes involve violent content, such as a character kicking his wife in the stomach and another character kicking his mother. These depictions of violence were considered inappropriate for a general audience, leading to their removal.
Additionally, another scene showing a dead character hanging from a sword and sliding down has been trimmed. A final notable scene, where Jr NTR’s character rides a shark, was also cut. The censor board requested that a disclaimer be added to inform viewers that the shark is computer-generated (CGI) and not real, ensuring that no animals were harmed in the making of the film.
Despite these cuts, Devara promises to deliver a grand cinematic experience with a runtime of 3 hours and 10 minutes. The movie has been in the spotlight due to its massive scale and the collaboration of top talents from the Indian film industry. Besides the lead roles, actors like Abhimanyu Singh, Shine Tom Chacko, Meka Srikanth, and Chaithra Rai are also part of the ensemble cast.
The film’s trailer has already left fans eager for its release, and with the censor board certification in place, the final preparations are underway. Audiences can expect an engaging storyline, impressive performances, and a visually captivating experience when Devara hits the theaters.
