Saif Ali Khan, encountered a health setback while shooting for the movie “Devara.” His decision to take on supporting and antagonist roles, following his role in “Adipurush,” led him to a prominent part in this big-budget Pan-India film. Unfortunately, during the action sequence filming for “Devara,” he aggravated an old injury, necessitating immediate medical attention.
Rushed to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital, Saif Ali Khan underwent scans revealing the need for surgery on his elbow and tricep. The injury affected the filming schedule of Jr. NTR’s much-anticipated movie, causing an unexpected halt. Fans, expressing concern for Saif’s recovery, hope the film’s release date won’t be significantly impacted.
Saif Ali Khan reassured well-wishers, stating, “This injury and the surgery that followed is a part of the wear and tear of what we do. I am very happy to be in such amazing surgical hands and thank all well-wishers for their love and concern.” Following a successful surgery, Saif’s recovery progress is under regular monitoring.
Meanwhile, Devara film, directed by Koratala Siva and featuring Jr. NTR and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles, faced an unforeseen delay due to Saif’s health condition. Once Saif recovers, he plans to resume work and complete any remaining portions. Despite the setback, the team remains optimistic that the release date of “Devara Part-1” on April 5th, 2024, will not be postponed.
