Devara box-office collections day 3:
Devara Part 1, featuring Jr NTR in his first lead role in six years, has been generating massive excitement among fans. The movie, a period drama, opened to packed theaters and its box office performance reflects the buzz surrounding it. The film had impressive pre-sales, setting the stage for a blockbuster opening weekend.
On its first day, Devara Part 1 collected a staggering Rs. 82.5 crores worldwide, surpassing the opening collection of Vijay Thalapathy’s recent release, The Greatest Of All Time. This strong start, however, was followed by a decline in collections on the second day. Saturday saw the movie earn Rs. 38.2 crores, marking a dip of 53.70%. The Telugu version remained the highest contributor with Rs. 27.55 crores, followed by the Hindi version with Rs. 9 crores. Other regional versions, including Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam, added to the total.

By the end of the second day, Devara had grossed Rs. 143 crores in India, while its overseas collection stood at Rs. 55 crores, bringing the worldwide total to Rs. 198 crores. The third day, which was the movie’s first Sunday, saw it regain some momentum. As of 6 p.m. on Sunday, the film had collected Rs. 29.96 crores, bringing the total collection to Rs. 150.66 crores.
The movie had an overall occupancy rate of 62.76% in Telugu and 23.18% in Hindi on Sunday. Despite the dip in collections on the second day, the movie continues to perform well and is expected to maintain its strong run at the box office in the coming days.
