As per early box office updates, Devara earned approximately ₹0.26 crore on its 30th day. Although the film no longer reaches the ₹1 crore mark daily, its cumulative net collection in India stands at ₹288.61 crore. The film’s steady performance highlights its strong appeal among audiences.
Devara vs RRR: Who’s on Top?
In the Kapada district of South India, Devara has outperformed RRR. According to reports, in Rajampet, Devara earned over ₹72 lakh, while RRR had only collected ₹70.2 lakh. This led fans to crown Devara as the “King of Kapada.” One user posted on X (formerly Twitter), celebrating the milestone, “Jr. NTR’s Devara sets an all-time record in Kapada by dethroning RRR in three key locations.”
Devara’s Future Prospects
Devara: Part 1 was released in theaters on September 27, 2024. The film’s streaming rights have been acquired by Netflix, and it is set to begin streaming on November 8. The movie’s storyline revolves around the son of a village chief who secretly continues his father’s mission to stop smuggling, all while maintaining the appearance that his father is still alive.
