Devaki Nandana Vasudeva, an action-packed film starring Ashok Galla, is set to make its OTT debut. The movie was released in theaters on November 22, 2024, and has now received mixed reactions. Directed by Arjun Jandyala, the film is ready to stream on Disney Plus Hotstar from February 8, 2025. It will also premiere on the Colors Cineplex Hindi TV channel on the same date.
The film revolves around Kamsa Raju (played by Devdatta Nage), a merciless ruler. A Shiva sage warns him that his death will come from his sister’s third child. Kamsa’s sister, Devayani, has a daughter named Satya (Manasa Varanasi), who meets Krishna (Ashok Galla) at a wedding. Krishna falls for Satya at first sight. The story follows Krishna’s journey to win Satya’s heart while Kamsa Raju’s fate unfolds. The film’s central mystery lies in why Kamsa was imprisoned for 21 years and how Krishna confronts him to change his destiny.
The movie is directed by Arjun Jandyala, with a screenplay by Prasanth Varma. Produced by Somineni Balakrishna, the film features Ashok Galla as Krishna, Manasa Varanasi as Satya, and Devdatta Nage as Kamsa Raju. The supporting cast includes Jhansi, Shatru, Naga Mahesh and others. The music is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.
