Puri Jagannath is currently working on the sequel to his highly successful film, ISmart Shankar, aptly titled “Double iSmart,” with Ram Pothineni and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles.
The film has generated significant buzz, and producers Puri Jagannadh and Charmee are capitalizing on this momentum. In a surprising turn of events, they are reportedly seeking a whopping Rs 20 Crores for the Hindi dubbing rights.
This demand from Puri Jagannath has raised eyebrows among northern filmmakers, given the recent underperformance of South Indian films in the Hindi market, such as Nani’s Dasara and Vishwak Sen’s Das Ki Dhamki.
The music director of the film has also been not yet locked. Puri has given a flop in the name of Liger and many distributors lost money. But still, Puri is asking for big money for his film.
