Dastagiri, who has become a key witness in the murder case of YS Vivekananda Reddy, has disclosed some shocking revelations about the incident. He stated that before Viveka’s murder, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy assured him that he would handle everything. In a recent interview, Dastagiri mentioned that Jagan and his wife Bharati Reddy, along with YS Avinash Reddy, Bhaskar Reddy, and Devireddy Shivashankar Reddy, are implicated in the case, which has hindered the investigation for the past five years.
He said, “Before Viveka’s murder, I was taken to Bhaskar Reddy’s house. Bhaskar Reddy, Avinash Reddy, and Shivashankar Reddy instructed me to follow their orders. Subsequently, Jagan spoke to me through Avinash Reddy’s phone, instructing me to obey Avinash’s commands, with assurance of his support.”
Dastagiri alleged that Jagan and Bharati attempted to destroy evidence as they were involved in the case. He accused them of framing Kadapa CBI SP Ram Singh and threatening his driver. Dastagiri claimed, “Not even a dog in Viveka’s house will perish without Jagan’s direction.”
He further asserted that if he hadn’t become a witness, YCP leaders would have shifted the blame to TDP. Dastagiri vowed to seek justice for the torment he endured and pledged to work towards the defeat of YCP leaders in the upcoming elections.
Challenging Avinash to prove his alleged ties with Suneetha, as claimed by YCP leaders, Dastagiri called upon PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to ensure justice in the Viveka murder case.
Despite his intentions to contest against Jagan in Pulivendula on behalf of Jai Bhim Bharat Party, Dastagiri claimed that local police are preventing him from filing his nomination. He stated, “I was prepared to file my nomination on April 25. However, the police stopped me, citing Jagan’s potential nomination on the same day. Is there a rule prohibiting others from filing nominations alongside Jagan? Even when I display my party’s posters near my residence, the police remove them.”
