Actress Shamna Kasim, popularly known as Poorna to Telugu audiences, gave birth to a baby boy. The actress was admitted to a private hospital in Dubai a few days ago. On Tuesday, she gave birth to the baby. The baby and the mother are doing fine.
Poorna got married in October to a Dubai-based businessman named Shanid. She has been a judge on several dance shows in Telugu. The actress has been actively performing in films. She played the wife of Chinna Nambi in the latest Nani’s blockbuster flick ‘Dasara’.
Poorna has been constantly updating her fans about her pregnancy on her Instagram as well as her YouTube channel. A native of Kannur in Kerala, Poorna happened to meet Shanid during a programme ‘Marhaba’ in Dubai as part of Golden Visa. Gradually the developed friendship and the liking turned out to be a happy marriage in October last year.
