He noted that while only a few individuals, including Jaggesh, Dhruva Sarja, and Ravi Varma, have publicly condemned Darshan, many prominent figures in the industry, such as Sudeep and the late Puneeth Rajkumar, have chosen to remain silent despite facing issues with Darshan.
Umapathy pointed out, “On many occasions, Sudeep chose to remain silent despite facing the brunt of Darshan. Same with Puneeth Rajkumar. If they had taken appropriate measures earlier, the situation could have been averted. I tell them there is no need to be silent.”
He also referenced a 2021 controversy in which he claimed that Darshan sought ownership of a property he had purchased from Puneeth Rajkumar and Raghavendra Rajkumar on Residency Road. This accusation adds another layer to the ongoing disputes involving Darshan and highlights the broader issues within the Sandalwood industry.
