Till two months back, ‘Mythri Movie Makers’ are one of the most successful production houses in Tollywood. All their films which include ‘Srimanthudu’, ‘Janatha Garage’ and ‘Rangasthalam’ became blockbusters at the box-office. These hit producers created a brand for themselves with these movies. Within two months, everything went upside down.
Mythri Movie Makers Reputation Damaged
It all started with ‘Savyasachi’. This film starring Naga Chaitanya and directed by Chandoo Mondeti had good hype over it aided by a great concept. But the film failed badly at the box-office due to its lacklustre narration leaving the distributors in losses. Their recent outing ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ opened to negative talk and is expected to end up as a disaster by becoming a nightmare for the buyers. These flops damaged their brand value and its effect may be felt on their upcoming ventures.
Currently, they are producing ‘Dear Comrade’ with Vijay Devarkonda and ‘Chitra Lahari’ with Sai Dharam Tej. Hope they become successful at the box-office ending ‘Mythri Movie Makers’ bad run at the box-office.
