Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi has tested positive for novel virus – COVID-19. Taking to Twitter, he revealed that he was feeling unwell and his body aching severely. “I’ve been feeling unwell since Thursday; my body had been aching badly. I’ve been tested and unfortunately I’m covid positive. Need prayers for a speedy recovery, InshaAllah,” Afridi tweeted.
Afridi has now become third Pakistani cricketer to test positive for the coronavirus. Previously, Taufeeq Umar and Zafar Sarfaraz got positive. The 40-year-old has recent hit headlines after his comments on Indian Prime Mnister Narednra Modi, after the latter paid visit to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK). His comments didn’t go down well with the Indian and India cricketer, where in Yuvraj Singh said that he regretted for having contributed to Afridi’s foundation.
