Confusion continues for Tollywood. With nationwide lockdown extended for another two weeks, film producers are in confusion over their business.
Many films including Search Results Web results Mohan Krishna Indraganti’s V and then new comers – Vaishnav Tej and Kirthi Shetty’s Uppena were supposed to release in April and May. But the lockdown has damped all their plans.
While, the government has given relaxation in some places diving into Zones- Red, Orange and Green; no relief is in sight for theaters as they won’t be open for public anytime soon. This is the underlying worry for the producers over movie collections loss.
Akin to adage -blessing in disguise, OTT gaints are coming forward with good prices along with share in streaming minutes. We have to see, if the producers would take a call whether to go for OTT release or not, amidst this situation.
