Shows, films featuring young actors with promise are going great guns on the digital medium and here comes another addition to the list that makes the wait for its release worthy. The teaser of Colour Photo, a project written and produced by Hrudaya Kaleyam, Kobbari Matta filmmaker Sai Rajesh, featuring actors Suhas, Chandini Chowdary and Sunil in key roles, was released earlier today and it showed all signs of a gritty story in the making. The film is directed by first-time filmmaker Sandeep.
The teaser mirrors the issues that a modest-looking guy faces when he likes someone who’s flatteringly beautiful. The path ahead to their relationship seems rocky. Suhas is surrounded by a bunch of friends who make fun of his appearance and love interest, among whom particularly Harsha Chemudu stands out for his wacky dialogues. Sunil arrives in the teaser shortly as a fierce police officer, who’s extremely convincing in his antagonist avatar, both in terms of appearance and firm dialogue delivery.
Colour Photo wrapped its shoot much before the lockdown and was expected to hit theatres. The makers have now settled for an OTT release and had completed dubbing formalities recently. It is very likely to release on Aha and this seems to be another understated action-comedy that looks set to continue the victorious momentum of several Telugu OTT releases like Krishna and his Leela, Bhanumathi and Ramakrishna, Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya.
