Warangal district collector Amrapali has made sensational comments about her bungalow, where she lives in, stating that it is haunted by a ghost. Amrapali added that she doesn’t sleep in the first floor of the 133-year-old building, and was also warned by her predecessors about a ghost. A video of her speech has gone viral, talking about paranormal elements in her residence.

Ghost Resides In Collector Amrapali House

“I went to the first floor and saw that there were some old furniture and trash and got it cleaned up but I do not sleep there,” said Amrapali while interacting with media. She took over as Warangal district collector in 2016 and when her colleague called her up to congratulate about her induction, they also warned her about the paranormal elements of the house. Amrapali adds that the first floor is used as a storehouse and after she came up she has cleaned up all the trash but has never dared to sleep there.

The curious collector has done research and said that one engineer George Palmer’s wife has laid the foundation stone of the building. She added that she has verified documents regarding this which shows that George Palmer had worked during the time of Nizams.

Meanwhile, Amarapali also told that her bungalow has some cracks and it’s painful during the rainy season, adding that she has to keep vessel and bucket under roof leaks to collect water. Saying that, she says despite being old the building is in form and only needs few repairs once a while.
