Puri Jagan’s son, Akash Puri has come out with his new film Chor Bazaar that has released today. Read on to know if the film has any juice in it or not.
Plot
Bachchan Saab(Akash Puri) is a small-time crook whose aim is to enter the Guinness book of the world records by changing tires in record time. This is also the time when a 200-crore worth is lost and somehow reaches the Chor Bazaar where Bachchan Saab lives. Who robbed that diamond? How did it affect the life of Bachchan Saab and what problems he faced are the rest of the storyline.
Performances
Akash Puri is the major attraction in the film. He is improving with each film and has tried to get a mass image with his film. Though he has a lot of time to get there, he has acted well in his role. The film also has Sunil and Subbaraju and they are routine in their roles. Archana makes a comeback after a long time but she did not create any impact with her role. Only a few scenes of her and Akash are good.

Analysis
The plot is decent but the way it has been handled looks quite outdated. There is no proper sense in the emotions and logic goes for a toss in so many areas. The characters are also not established well in the narrative and this is where the narration lacks any focus.
Jeevan Reddy of George Reddy fame has directed this film and his writing is poor. He has tried to etch a commercial project for the first time but he has failed miserably. The songs, taking and camerawork are decent though. The film has some comedy but Akash Puri overacts for no reason.
Akash Puri is trying hard and said in his speech that one should encourage him in his career. But if he keeps on signing films like these no one can help him. Finally, Chor Bazaar is an age-old crime drama that fails to entertain.
Bottom Line – Goes Badly Wrong
