Chiranjeevi’s Mega156 will not feature any heroine or songs?
Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film, tentatively titled Mega156 directed by Srikanth Odela has been a topic of discussion since its announcement. Recent speculation suggested the film would not feature any songs or a leading lady. However producer Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas clarified these rumors in a recent interview.
According to Sudhakar, Mega156 is set to be a period action drama. He emphasized that contrary to circulating reports, the film will include songs and a heroine. He also revealed that the story is still in development, with the director of photography (DOP) and music director already finalized.

“Both Mega156 and Nani’s The Paradise are period dramas. Social media rumors claiming there will be no songs or heroine in Mega156 are false. We’ve finalized the DOP and music director, and the story is being developed,” Sudhakar explained.
The collaboration between Chiranjeevi and Srikanth Odela was officially announced on December 3, 2024. Srikanth, who is currently wrapping up Nani’s The Paradise will focus on Chiranjeevi’s project next.
Actor Nani shared his excitement about Srikanth’s venture with Chiranjeevi through a social media post. Sharing a striking poster, he wrote, “I grew up inspired by him. I stood in lines for hours to watch him. Now, I present him. It’s a full circle.”
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi is also working on another high-profile project, Vishwambhara directed by Mallidi Vassishta and produced by UV Creations. This fantasy action film features a stellar cast, including Trisha Krishnan, Kunal Kapoor, Meenakshi Chaudhary and Ashika Ranganath.
