Chiranjeevi plans his next with disaster director
Harish Shankar is a prominent writer and director in Telugu cinema, known for his successful films. After a break, his upcoming movie Ustaad Bhagat Singh faced some delays, but it’s now back on track. This film, starring Pawan Kalyan, is highly anticipated, and the shooting is set to resume soon.
Initially, Harish Shankar had planned to direct a remake of the Hindi film Raid with Ravi Teja, titled Mr. Bachchan. However, the project did not gain much attention and didn’t move forward as expected. Now, Harish is fully concentrating on Ustaad Bhagat Singh, eager to deliver another hit.
There are also reports that Harish Shankar will soon collaborate with Megastar Chiranjeevi. Producer DVV Danayya, known for his work on RRR, will back this project. Originally, Harish was supposed to direct Chiranjeevi’s next movie, but the project went to director Mohan Raja instead.

Recently, Harish Shankar and Chiranjeevi worked together on a commercial, which impressed the actor. Chiranjeevi appreciated Harish’s talent and offered him the chance to direct his next film. Harish is currently working on the script, and advances have already been paid by DVV Danayya to both Chiranjeevi and Harish Shankar. The film is expected to begin production next year, with an official announcement likely soon.
Before this project, Chiranjeevi will finish another film, Vishwambara, which is set to release on January 10, 2025.
Additionally, Chiranjeevi recently made headlines by earning a Guinness World Record for being the “Most Prolific Film Star in India” as an actor and dancer. He received this honor on September 22, a significant date as it marks his entry into the Indian film industry in 1978, making it a memorable occasion for his fans.
