The team of Geetha Govindam held success party today in Hyderabad which saw Megastar Chiranjeevi as the chief guest. Chiranjeevi started off his speech stating that he gets “energetic vibes” from the audience and thanked meg fans and rowdies for coming at the event.

Chiranjeevi: Geetha Govindam Made Vijay A Star

Chiranjeevi heaped praise on Vijay Deveraonda during his speech. He congratulated the actor for his histrionics and went on to add that, the film had now made him into a star that is being lapped up by all the sections of the audience. Megastar spoke about Vijay’s transformation from Arjun Reddy character to a sober and sincere guy in Geetha Govindam. He then reminisced about his film Vijetha which too had a similar genre of Vijay’s film. Explaining further he said, at a time when he was doing action films, Vijetha came in, adding though he was sceptical but signed the film as it was a family movie. He made these comparisons with Vijay’s film which is also a family film, thus helped in breaking his earlier role.

Chiranjeevi then went on to congratulate filmmaker Parsuram, Rahul Ramakrishna, Subba Raju, Rashmika and Vennela Kishore among other artistes. Meanwhile, Stylish Star Allu Arjun too hosted a grand party over Geetha Govindam success. The pictures have surfaced online, which show Allu Arjun in his uber cool black outfit, while Vijay sporting a jeans and rowdy t-shirt, along with Parsuram and producers Allu Aravind and Bunny Vyas. The film has been appreciated by celebrities like Chiranjeevi to Rajamouli to Mahesh Babu to name some.
