Chiranjeevi has hailed a woman police officer, Subhashree Nayak, for her empathy towards destitute. The woman officer serves as Malkangiri police sub-inspector in Odisha. It all happened when Sye Raa actor chanced upon a viral video which showed the Odisha cop feeding food to one physically and mentally challenged woman on roadside.
Moved by her gesture, Chiranjeevi spoke with the cop and appreciated her humanitarian deed. The actor put up his live converstaion with the cop on social media and wrote, “So delighted to chat with #Shubhasri ji ,the Odisha Cop who cares for citizens like her own.Salute her compassion. @CMO_Odisha @Naveen_Odisha @DGPOdisha”
On the professional front, Chiranjeevi will be seen in Koratala Siva’s ‘Acharya’. The socio-political film will have Kajal Aggarwal paired alongside Chiru. Previously Trisha Krishan was roped in, but she backed out of the project owing to creative differences.
