The pre-release event of Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru happened last night at LB Stadium in Hyderabad. Megastar Chiranjeevi attended this event as the chief guest. His presence and his speech remained as the major highlight of the event. The whole team of Sarileru Neekevvaru got overwhelmed with the presence of Chiru.
Speaking at the event, Chiru said that he always feels amused when he looks at Mahesh Babu. Chiru added that behind Mahesh’s innocent face, there is a tinge of naughtiness as well. Meanwhile, Chiru also spoke about Mahesh’s father and one of the first-ever superstars of Telugu cinema, Krishna. Chiru stated that Krishna is one hero who always tried to bring new technology for Telugu audiences. He termed Krishna as the one who brought many technical trends in Tollywood. Chiru said that he feels Krishna deserves the Dadasaheb Phalke award, which is the highest honour for a film personality.
“I feel bad that even after working in more than 350 films as an actor, director and producer, Krishna garu didn’t get the Dadasaheb Phalke award. I urge the governments of both the Telugu states to work hard on making it possible as he deserves it the most,” said Chiru. Let us see if the governments consider Chiru’s request or not.
