In the realm of Telugu cinema, prominent figures like Megastar Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, and Pawan Kalyan have been under the scrutiny of critics for their preference towards remakes over original narratives.
Chiranjeevi seized the opportunity to address this ongoing debate during the pre-release event of “Bholaa Shankar,” held on a Sunday. Candidly acknowledging the criticism that has come their way, Chiranjeevi pointed out that “Bholaa Shankar” is, indeed, a remake of the Tamil blockbuster “Vedalam.
However, Chiranjeevi respectfully countered these assertions by highlighting the inherent strength of the original Tamil film’s plot. Defending the choice to engage with remakes, Chiranjeevi stated, “A lot of people questioned my decision to do remakes. My argument is that remakes are acceptable if the original material is strong enough.”
Directed by Meher Ramesh, “Bholaa Shankar” is all set to make its much-awaited debut on August 11th, promising to captivate audiences with its reimagining of a compelling narrative.
