YSRCP Chandragiri Lok Sabha candidate Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy scam will shock you. Revealing about the same, Jana Sena corporator Peethala Murthy Yadav recently has accused Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy of involvement in corruption schemes totaling over a thousand crore rupees in Visakhapatnam. In a recent press conference, Murthy Yadav claimed that Chavireddy, known for his frequent prayers, allegedly misused his position to embezzle funds and exploit natural resources.
One of the allegations revolves around the destruction of Rishikonda by Chavireddy through illicit means. Murthy Yadav claimed that Chavireddy profited immensely by illegally quarrying stones and red soil from the area, flouting environmental regulations. He further alleged that Reddy’s close ties to Chief Minister YS Jagan facilitated his corrupt activities, including securing contracts for soil sales at Gangavaram port.
Another accusation centers on the exploitation of land earmarked for industrial use in Gurrampalem. Chavireddy purportedly mined this land, despite it being deemed unsuitable for industries by government officials during Roja’s tenure as chairman of APIIC. Murthy Yadav accused Reddy of exploiting loopholes in certification processes to carry out his mining operations for personal gain.
In Paravada’s pharmacy, Chavireddy allegedly seized chemical waste dumps through intimidation tactics, colluding with certain individuals to profit from the hazardous materials. Yadav suggested that despite numerous accidents in the area, authorities failed to take action against Reddy and his associates due to their political influence.
Furthermore, Jana Sena expressed concerns about Chavireddy’s extensive business dealings in Visakhapatnam and urged the Election Commission to investigate these allegations thoroughly. They called for accountability and swift action against those responsible for exploiting public resources and engaging in corrupt practices.
