The Punjabi’ kudi’ Charmme Kaur who made her acting debut in Tollywood has done over 50 films. However, following a string of flops, Charmee bid adieu to acting. While many assumed that Charmee would get back to her hometown leaving the film industry, she proved them wrong with her comeback in Puri Jagan’s film Jyothi Lakshmi. The film, however, didn’t bring in any luck to her and stood as a dud.
Charmee then continued to work with Puri Jagan by involving herself into production. The duo came with a blockbuster hit – iSmart Shankar. Starring Ram Pothineni, Nabha Natasha and Nidhi Agerwal, the film has minted over Rs 25 crore in just five days and continues to wreak havoc at the box-office. Pos the film’s blockbuster success Charmee in demand. Wondering for what? The actress is being lauded for her role as executive producer for iSmart Shankar.
Filmmaker Puri Jagan at the film’s success party appreciated Charmee. He went on to add that due to Charmee he was able to film iSmart Shknar in a less budget. From the actor’s remuneration to managing other areas, Charmee managed with agility. Following this, other producers are making a beeline in front of Charmee to make as executive producer for their films. But looks like, Charmee has already started on her next project. Reportedly, Puri Jagan wants to make Charmee as co-producer for his next film. Well, we say all is well that ends well.
