It has become a trend to do remakes, especially for Bollywood eyeing the South industry. The B-town makers bak on remakes considering that it has churned out blockbuster and would be a safe zone. For instance, Kabir Singh proved the same as it went on to become the biggest opener for Shahid Kapoor in his career. And now, Charan’s Yevudu goes to Bollywood.
Milap Zaveri of Hate Story 4 fame has evinced interest in the action-entertainer who think it would mint gold at the box-office. “Nikkhil and Milap watched the original version of Yevadu and felt that the story can be retold for the Bollywood audience with a different spin while retaining the core idea. Hence, they decided to collaborate and work on the remake,” says a source.
The original was helmed by Vamsi Paidipally and was produced by Dil Raju.
