Over the last five years how Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu has made dubious statements and failed to keep his election manifesto promise is known to the public. While the ruling TDP has passed many GOs among other things to their favour, here comes another shocking news where Chandrababu’s sketch has helped Balakrishna’s son-in-law Bharat to amass a whopping Rs 2000 crores.
The Opposition parties have busted the sketch laid by Chandrababu and Balkrishna. Reportedly, the TDP passed a GO on August 15 allotting 500 acres of government land to VBC Fertilisers. The VBC Fertilisers is owned by Balakrishna’s second-son-law Bharat which was given for a meagre Rs 80,000 per acre. In total, Bharat acquired the land for a mere Rs 4 crore.
Chandrababu again issued a GO in 2015 bringing Jayanthipuram in APCRDA region. With this, the land acquired by Bharat went from Rs 4 crore to Rs 10 crore per acre. And now this 500-acre land owned by Bharat stands to Rs 2,000 crore. This shows the dubious and cheap trick of Chandrababu how he wasted public money in making makeshift secretariats and visit purposes and aiding his families financially.
