Kalyan Ram Nandamuri comes up with a prestigious film Thuglak. Venu Mallidi is a new director making his debut. The film unit recently tested a new look of Catherine and locked her as the leading lady. Thuglak is touted to be a political satire in Telugu that will be revolving around the contemporary political situations in Telugu states. The film will also have some fantasy elements for which a lot of graphic work is required. On the other hand, Kalyan Ram is also in talks for the remake of the Malayalam film Anjaam Pathira.
