Despite his efforts, including round-the-clock promotions from 6 AM to 10 PM for his upcoming movie Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, Nani’s films have struggled to make an impact at the Tamil box office.
His last three films’ closing gross in Tamil Nadu are clear indicators of this challenge:

– Dasara: ₹2.75 crore
– Ante Sundaraniki: ₹1 crore
These numbers suggest that while Nani’s films may garner some attention, they fall short of achieving substantial box-office success. Mrunal Thakur played the female lead, with Nassar, Jayaram, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, and others in pivotal roles.
Additionally, Nani is set to collaborate again with director Srikanth Odela on the project tentatively titled Nani 33. There are also rumors that Janhvi Kapoor may star as the female lead, although official confirmation is yet to be made.
