Karthik Rathnam shot to fame with Venkatesh Maha’s maiden directorial C/o Kancharapalem. The actor who starred in few web series has now bagged a major big-ticket film, Narappa starring Venkatesh Daggubati. On his birthday, July 5, the makers unveiled his first look. He plays Munikanna, the elder son of Venkatesh. Suresh Productions tweeted, “Introducing Narappa’s Elder son – #MUNIKANNA!! The first look shows Karthik riding a bicycle with simple attire. Srikanth Addala is wielding the megaphone for this project. Narappa is the remake of Tamil blockbuster film, Asuran that starred Dhanush and Manju Warrier which was directed by Vetrimaaran.
