Breathe Into the Shadows, the second season of the hugely popular crime thriller series on Amazon Prime Video that originally starred Madhavan and Amit Sadh in key roles, looks set to take the audiences on a roller-coaster ride starting this July 10. The second season retains Amit Sadh from the first instalment, while it has extremely promising additions in the form of Abhishek Bachchan and Nithya Menen. The two capable performers will be making their digital debut with the show created and directed by Mayank Sharma for Abundantia Entertainment. The trailer of the second season opened to impressive responses earlier today.
The show features Abhishek Bachchan and Nithya Menen as parents to a young girl who has been kidnapped. Abhishek Bachchan is seen playing a psychiatrist who’d go to any length to protect his family. Amit Sadh returns in a rugged avatar playing a ferocious yet no-nonsense cop handling this case. There are a series of murders that catch the two by surprise, the adrenaline pumping sequences are aplenty and several characters have their shades of grey, contributing to the mystery element of the show.
While Nithya Menen’s Hindi diction is refreshingly flawless, Abhishek Bachchan is a picture of confidence in the 3-minute long trailer that makes the wait for the show’s release on July 10 worthy. Saiyami Kher and Hrishikesh Joshi play key roles in the show that has been in the making for long. And seems like we wouldn’t have much time to ‘breathe’ in this space!
