Parvathy has fans all over the world, some like her for her performances and others for her nature which is very endearing. Sometimes you feel you have the guts and gumption like her. The actor who is best remembered for her role in ‘Qarib Qarib Singlle’ opposite late actor Irrfan Khan, ‘Bangalore Days’ and ‘Charlie’ did something laudable. Known for speaking her mind, she stamped a ‘Yuck’ on Karan Johar’s recent Instagram post. She had made a strong statement by doing that and is sure to have left Karan Johar numb.
Karan Johar has been the object of attention in the past few months for his infamous drug party video and keeping silent on various issues pertaining to Disha Salian and Sushant Singh Rajput. Like Kangana said, the torch bearer of nepotism, recently posted his decision of making films with inspiring content about values and culture of India. What a contrast in his words and behaviour! On one end he encourages drugs and on the other end he speaks of culture. He couldn’t have got a better comment than what Parvathy posted.
Taking to Instagram, Parvathy, in one of her stories, called the announcement ‘yuck’. Like always, and expected, Parvathy also got a lot of applause for her bold comment on the project. “Celebrating 75 years of Independence by joining hands with ‘Change Within’, an initiative by film fraternity, to make inspiring content about valour, values and the culture of India. It is our stories that make us who we are, and every corner of our country has an empowering tale to tell Last year we made a special film on the 150th birth year of Mahatma Gandhi, directed by Rajkumar Hirani. Followed by various meaningful initiatives, we have come together to celebrate the spirit of the freedom movement,” shared Karan Johar while making the announcement.
He also tried wooing the PM unsuccessfully, “As we embark on this journey, it witnesses a fresh beginning of the grand era of storytelling to cherish the soul of the idea called ‘India’. Drawing inspiration from our Honorable Prime Minister from whom we also seek sustained guidance, we the members of the film fraternity are privileged to announce our plan to celebrate the 75th year of Independence.
