The Janasena campaign rally in Tatiparthi village, Pithapuram constituency, on Sunday took a dangerous turn when Sai Dharam Tej faced an attempted assault by YSRCP goons, according to Janasena leader Sandeep Panchakarla. Sai Dharam Tej, who recently recovered from a major accident, narrowly escaped injury when a glass bottle was thrown at him. Luckily, the bottle missed his face, averting a serious injury. However, a Janasena supporter named Nalla Sridhar was struck by the bottle and was seen bleeding.

As the roadshow continued towards the Tatiparthi Gajjalamma temple center, more incidents occurred, with hooligans targeting Sai Dharam Tej with drink bottles. This was not an isolated event, as earlier, during the roadshow from Tatiparthi to Chinna Jaggampet, YCP cadres engaged in provocative actions, leading to chaos and confrontations with Janasena leaders and supporters.

This behavior is concerning, especially considering Sai Dharam Tej’s widespread popularity across different fan groups and castes due to his humble demeanor. Supporting his uncle Pawan Kalyan should not be a justification for attacking him.
Sandeep Panchakarla, a leader of Janasena, raised questions to YSR Congress leaders, highlighting the irony of their actions given the recent incident where YS Jagan was hit by a stone. Pawan Kalyan, the chief of Janasena, who was also recently attacked with a stone, is expected to address this latest attack.
