Bommarillu Bhaskar Faces Heat Over Jack’s Failure
Jack starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda, was released with decent expectations. Many hoped it would be a hit especially considering Siddhu’s popularity among the youth. However film did not perform well at the box office in Telugu states or overseas.
Reports say that the film’s collections on the first two days were very low. Fans and industry insiders are surprised that Siddhu could not attract the audience to the theatres. Most of the blame is falling on the film’s director Bommarillu Bhaskar.
Bhaskar once known for his hit Bommarillu, has been criticized for not handling the story of Jack properly. The narration is being called weak and confusing. Many viewers felt the film was disappointing and not up to expectations. People on social media are trolling the director and calling him a “one-film wonder.”
The story of Jack revolves around RAW agents, but instead of creating tension or excitement, the film ends up looking silly. The characters and the plot were not convincing to the audience. Several fans are also questioning why Siddhu agreed to do this film in the first place.
With such poor reviews and negative word-of-mouth, Jack is struggling to continue its theatrical run. Many believe that the film failed because of poor writing and direction, not because of the actors.
