Former Bigg Boss Tamil 7 winner Archana Ravichandran recently addressed issues related to Bigg Boss Tamil 8, defending her rumored boyfriend, Arun Prasath. In an Instagram video, Archana subtly criticized host Vijay Sethupathi for comments made during a Weekend Ka Vaar episode.
Archana expressed her disappointment over how Arun’s perspective during a house task was portrayed. She explained that the number of contestants in the house had decreased due to evictions and conflicts, which led Arun to argue that fewer contestants meant reduced kitchen work. However, he believed that instead of overcrowding the kitchen team, others should focus on different tasks. Archana felt his point was logical but misrepresented in the show.
The actress elaborated that Arun viewed the house as a family where responsibilities should be shared equally, rather than categorized as “skilled” or “labor.” She also highlighted a disagreement between Arun and another contestant, Deepak, which she claimed escalated unnecessarily. According to Archana, Deepak’s comments provoked Arun, and his genuine intentions were overshadowed during discussions led by the host.
In her video, Archana questioned the emphasis on dissecting Arun’s perspective rather than understanding his logical approach. She stated that the portrayal was unfair, as the focus shifted away from the core message of equality in household responsibilities.
Archana captioned her post, “Household responsibilities aren’t about ‘skilled’ or ‘labor’—it’s about teamwork and fairness. Arun stood by equality, and that’s worth discussing.”
The video sparked discussions among fans, with some supporting Archana’s stance and others debating Arun’s actions on the show. Archana and Arun, rumored to be in a relationship, have neither confirmed nor denied their connection publicly.
