Bhaje Vaayu Vegam directed by Prashanth Reddy marks the comeback of young Telugu actor Kartikeya Gummakonda. This crime thriller which debuted in theaters on May 31, didn’t initially attract much attention.
Rahul known for his role in “Happy Days,” also stars in the movie, which received mixed reviews from critics. Despite this, it managed to hold steady at the box office.
Fans have reason to be excited as Netflix has acquired the digital streaming rights for Bhaje Vaayu Vegam. The film is expected to start streaming in late June or early July, though the exact date hasn’t been announced yet.
About Bhaje Vaayu Vegam
The story centers on two brothers, Venkat (Kartikeya Gummakonda) and Raju ( Rahul Tyson), whose father ( Tanikella Bharani) is a struggling farmer. Due to financial problems, the brothers move to the city to pursue their dreams. Venkat wants to be a cricketer, while Raju aims for a stable job in software engineering.
Their plans fall apart when Venkat loses all his savings in a betting scam. In desperation, they decide to rob a car belonging to mafia don David (P. Ravi Shankar). This leads to a series of events where they find themselves on the run from the police, gangsters, and other criminals.
The film features a strong cast, including Kartikeya Gummakonda, Iswarya Menon, Rahul Tyson, Tanikella Bharani, and P. Ravi Shankar. Produced by UV Concepts, the film is both written and directed by Prashanth Reddy. Kapil Kumar composed the music and background score, RD Rajasekhar handled the cinematography, and the editing was done by Satya G.
